By using ScriptBuddy, you agree to these terms. We've written them to be clear and fair. If you have questions, please contact us.

1. Account Terms

To use ScriptBuddy, you must:

  • Be 13 years or older
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Be responsible for your account security
  • Notify us of any unauthorized use

Important: You're responsible for all content created under your account.

2. Acceptable Use

✅ You CAN:

  • Create content for personal or commercial use
  • Use generated scripts on any platform
  • Modify and adapt scripts as needed
  • Share your account with your team (on Business plans)

❌ You CANNOT:

  • Use ScriptBuddy for illegal purposes
  • Generate harmful, hateful, or misleading content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer our AI
  • Resell or redistribute our service
  • Violate others' intellectual property rights

3. Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain all rights to your voice recordings and the scripts you create. We claim no ownership over your content.

Our License

By using ScriptBuddy, you grant us a license to process your content for the purpose of providing our services. This includes transcription and script generation.

Note: We may use anonymized data to improve our AI models, but only with your consent.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime from your dashboard
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice

5. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Temporary service interruptions
  • Loss of data due to your actions
  • Third-party service outages
  • Issues beyond our reasonable control

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using ScriptBuddy, you agree to our privacy practices.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • You can cancel your account anytime
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the service ends
  • You can export your scripts before cancelling

8. Disclaimers & Limitations

ScriptBuddy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

  • Scripts will meet all your requirements
  • Generated content will be error-free
  • Results will be suitable for every purpose

Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
